Nah not sideways. Garrick a goal kicking gun with huge upside, someone you want in your top 4 CTW. RTS a level below those guys, if you have no other issues, go for it. Think we’ve seen enough from RTS as a good base centre but that’s all he is.
Agree with all this – except from Hakuna’s list of centres I’d prefer to have RTS over May and maybe also Armstrong.
Obviously too late to sell May now and Armstrong will get good cash.
Thank you for our reply Michael. I will probably bring in JMK next week.
Would rather Grant but with origin he does not have the coverage.
Whoever I bring in I am hoping to keep for the rest of the year.
Kazza, i bought JMK last week, now the plan is to get Grant, (probably after byes) to replace Lussick.
As Michael said JMK great bye coverage.
Also worked out that one of these 2 hookers play every single round.
In the same boat kazza, not ideal at all. Think I will also hold as I’m on my final boost, have more pressing trades and don’t want to alter them. And the point made about the loop is a good one too. Fingers crossed the ae isn’t too bad for us!
Yes Apex I have already used a boost this week (my 3rd).
I do not want to change the trades I was making.
I have since traded out Schiller (was going to be Bostock) but decided to keep a playing player instead of someone who may not play again, so I now have 3 possible AE’s, Hughes, Smithies and Chan, instead of the 1.
Silly to trade out a healthy player I think.
Good luck to you with your AE’s this week as well.
Kazza
Drizzling, miserable and cold in between the Doggies and Drags areas. Doesn’t help with tonight’s game at 4PP. But tomorrow night at Accor is gonna be a biatch.
yep – good draw for Holmes. You have to factor in / consider – are you playing H2H or overall?
Then factor in that over the bye rounds its now only best 13 – which makes it easier to hold origin players … if you think you are well placed, and you think this is the cheapest you will see Holmes for a while, then it is definitely worthwhile getting him and holding him across byes / Origin … if you want him in your final 17 – 20 players …
I went the “nuts” direction. I wouldnt go either up or down this week.I wouldn’t trade just for the sake of it unless thumbs up or down were always in your plan. Also depends what trades you have planned for next week and whether this week’s trades affect those plans.
Drinky is my option too. If you need to trade this week then go TD though I expect May to score better in coming weeks with more challenging games. I try to avoid going early on rookies.

Final Team Update (in TG’s absence) – Manly vs Raiders – Source: NRL.com
Manly: 1-17 Raiders: A late switch sees Emre Guler start at prop and Josh Papali’i move back to the bench.
not looking like a problem now – gee Manly have been shite in the second half … Garrick cost himself (and us) points in the first half by not passing to unmarked Turbo – blew points for Turbo and himself and cost his team – he’s also not got his kicking boots on tonight
Turbo 75 points in the first half, 15 in the second… Ooooft

Final Team Update (in TG’s absence) – Broncos vs Roosters – Source: NRL.com
Broncos: 1-17 Roosters:
Several changes for the visitors with Jared Waerea-Hargreaves dropping out of the squad and Naufahu Whyte joining the run-on side, with Sitili Tupouniua the new addition on the bench. Veteran winger Daniel Tupou also dropped out on Friday after missing last week with a knee injury, with Fetalaiga Pauga called up to the wing. No further changes an hour from kick-off.

the wheels have completely fallen off for Manly in the second half – they have been appalling – must have been too cocky at half time – they have been so poor in all aspects in second half
Is RTS -> Garrick too sideways of a trade? Thinking Garrick might be a keeper whilst RTS hasn’t shown signs that he is.
I would hold RTS personally – who else do you have in CTW
Holmes. Mulitalo, May, Isaako, Armstrong, Iro

RTS never gets enough clean ball. I have him but wish I bought Manu instead back at that time

To play –
TU – TMM
TD – Galvin
Thanks for your thumbs
Another one please
VC
TU – Turbo
TD – Garrick
Only saying Garrick as a POD, with Trbo the most popular choice

Fainu
Smithies
Brooks
Smithies
Api out this week.
Take an AE or get another hooker in (Lussick is other)?
AE will be Chan.
Thank you
Kazza
Lussick to JBrailey and play Brailey?
If you can bring in someone like Grant or JMK (bye coverage) I think both good choices

might just have to cop the AE … but it does allow you to C Loop if ur wise VC goes large …

Play
TU brooks
TD galvin
Then the one out of them Not chosen or J Bailey As last R
Play Galvin and Brailey
That’s what I am leaning
Could someone give an update on the actual weather in Sydney atm. Cheers!
Drizzling, miserable and cold in between the Doggies and Drags areas. Doesn’t help with tonight’s game at 4PP. But tomorrow night at Accor is gonna be a biatch.
Thanks Boomer for the update.
Cold and raining at Manly.
Cheers Kazza. Much appreciated!
Last reserve:
TU: Terrel May
TD: Bostock
Comment: Savage
looking to trade strange and savage, which two?
Holmes
Isaako
Kiraz
Garrick
Garrick and isaako for me
Isaako and Garriick are the value picks IMO
Personally not sold on Kiraz and I think Val isn’t worth it with Origin coming up
Only reason I put Holmes was his draw the next 4 weeks before Rd 13
Dolphins
Titans
Rabbits
Tigers

Holmes garrick
Second guessing myself
TU: Go a week early on Armstorng
TD: Look for cash elsewhere with a TerMay > SFainu trade
Comment: Go nuts and go Turbo > Fuller and have a spending spree lol
I went the “nuts” direction. I wouldnt go either up or down this week.I wouldn’t trade just for the sake of it unless thumbs up or down were always in your plan. Also depends what trades you have planned for next week and whether this week’s trades affect those plans.
PS. I loved your 2 hooker comment last night during the South’s match. Makes perfect sense now LOL.
Need to make a second trade this week for the cash
Next week I’ll most likely do the Hutcho > Armstrong trade if I don’t go this week
Think Turbo is a trade out in 2 weeks anyway ( have drinky pencilled in)
Drinky is my option too. If you need to trade this week then go TD though I expect May to score better in coming weeks with more challenging games. I try to avoid going early on rookies.

I’m considering Munster, my 5/8 combo suck, and I’m H2H, Does SOO players being not available mean as much for a h2h?
Depends on your league settings. Many leagues are set up so that there are no match ups in major bye weeks. Check with your league commissioner.
wow, didnt know that
Last R
TU: Xerri
TD: Armstrong
To make cash or to play?
Xerri to play
Armstrong if you want cash
What about xerri this week and Armstrong next?
to play have both
You have a free week to look at Armstrong before he moves in price.
Who to play?
TU May
TD Hughes
Who to play?
TU TeMaire Martin
TD Galvin
Considering Nicho has put up daddy tons 2 weeks in a row, what is a loop-able score?
120+
my real problem becomes who do I leave out – my only two options are Curran or Cotter – in the FRF position – all other roles playing …
not looking like a problem now – gee Manly have been shite in the second half … Garrick cost himself (and us) points in the first half by not passing to unmarked Turbo – blew points for Turbo and himself and cost his team – he’s also not got his kicking boots on tonight
That’s why Garrick’s little chance of playing Origin (good player, but …).
gee mate – you must be gutted – talk about pathetic effort …how did they lose that?
I have no illusions, Macca. Manly has been mentally soft for a long time. If Turbo stays fit, they’re a Top 8 team, but that’s the current ceiling. 🙁
PS – Waddell with 8 missed tackles and 3 errors will be lucky to hold his spot (Burbo back next week anyway).
yeah I noted that – he had feet for hands! Killed them

Yep. Not in the Panthers, Broncos, or Storm league.
Terrell May finally on at the 29th minute. Hopefully plays 51 minutes.
I echo the “finally” sentiment.
